BRASIL, 2016
In March of 2016, I traveled to Brasil to lead mural projects in Vitória, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. My visit was part of a program sponsored by the U. S. State Department, and coordinated by the Meridian International Center for Diplomacy. In Vitória I worked closely with the artist Karen Valentim and students at a local secondary school. In Rio, I collaborated with art students from Oi Kabum! And in São Paulo, the arts-based organization Parede Viva was my host along with the artist Kaleb.
